01 / ABOUT THE ROLE

Event Volunteers are an important part of 904.meets events. Volunteers help with setup, attendee support, vendors, event areas, and other tasks that keep the event organized and welcoming.

Unlike Event Staff, volunteering does not require an ongoing commitment. You can volunteer for individual events when your schedule allows.

No previous event experience is required. We're looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and interested in contributing to the community.

02 / RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU'LL DO.

  1. 01

    EVENT SETUP & TEARDOWN

    Help prepare event areas before attendees arrive and assist with breakdown after the event. Tasks may include signage, tables, cones, barriers, vendor areas, and light event equipment.

  2. 02

    ATTENDEE SUPPORT

    Help welcome attendees, answer basic questions, provide directions, and assist Event Staff with maintaining organized event areas.

  3. 03

    GENERAL EVENT SUPPORT

    Support vendors, partners, staff, and other volunteers as needed. Be ready to step into simple tasks that help keep the event running smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS.

EVENT AVAILABILITY

Must be able to attend the event and volunteer during the agreed time period, which may include setup or teardown depending on the assignment.

COMMUNICATION

Must be able to follow instructions, communicate with Event Staff, and let the team know if an issue or schedule change comes up.

EVENT READINESS

Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods in an active outdoor event environment. Some volunteer assignments may involve moving light event equipment or signage.
